CGN Power Co Ltd corporate governance recognized

CGN Power Co Ltd received Special Mention in the H-share Companies and Other Mainland Enterprises Category at the 2019 Best Corporate Governance Awards ceremony hosted by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants on Dec 5.

Founded in 2001, the Best Corporate Governance Awards are recognized as an important benchmark for corporate governance standards and best practices in Hong Kong. The 2019 edition featured seven categories and saw hundreds of domestic and foreign enterprises and institutions, including Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd, CLP Holdings Ltd, Lenovo Group Ltd, China Mobile Ltd, and Airport Authority Hong Kong, take part.

Since CGN Power Co Ltd was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Dec 10, 2014, it has been committed to high-level management to ensure steady operation, sound shareholder profits, and increasing corporate value. It not only meets all the articles in the Corporate Governance Code of the stock exchange, but also has gone beyond that in many areas, stressing its own highlights. The high-level corporate management has been maintained when it’s A share was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on Aug 26.
