This Nuclear Power Base of CGN receives full marks in WANO composite index for all six units in 2023

In the recently published international ranking of WANO (World Association of Nuclear Operators) composite index of 2023, there are 15 CGN units receiving full marks, jointly ranking first in the world, among which 6 units of Yangjiang Nuclear Power Plant have received full marks, becoming the first and only nuclear power base where all units have received full marks and also achieving the best records since the complete commercial operation of Yangjiang Nuclear Power Plant.

approximately 338.5 billion Kwh

equivalent to the reduction of consumption of standard coal by more than 101.81 million tons

to the reduction of CO2 emissions by about 278.99 million tons

and to the afforestation of about 760,000 hectares

with an equal coverage of about one city of Yangjiang
